Fiddler has a devilish time with Daniels
If
the Devil happens to come south to Florida, Kimberly Jaffar will be
ready for him. The hot fiddler with Savana, now has more
firepower. Recently Savana was invited to Colorado Springs,
CO., by Southeast
Toyota to play one of those lucrative corporate events,
opening for Charlie Daniels.
Now Charlie's no slug on the fiddle
either, and when he heard Kimberly play, he was impressed enough to
ask her to join him for a song. "I was really
honored, but I didn't know the song and didn't want to mess it up
for him," Jaffar said, "so I said no. But we sat in the
front row, and when he played the last note in "The
Devil Went Down To Georgia", he tossed the bow up in the
air, right into my lap." Jaffar used it Friday at
Pompano Beach Amphitheater, where Savana opened for Willie
Nelson. No chance to sit in with Willie, they had to rush to
another date -- a St. Paddy's party at the Irish Cottage Pub in
Delray Beach.
